WHAT IS ZERO BALANCING? Available in Bovey Tracey, Exeter and Exmouth Zero Balancing Is a form of hands on bodywork which eases aches, pains and stress (physical and emotional) and is profoundly relaxing. It is like a clothed massage that gets right to the root of the problem without being painful or invasive. Our body may be in good condition and our energy okay, but if they are not in harmony we can feel out of sorts, even pain. Bringing full attention through gentle stretches and pressure to the bone at key areas on the foundation joints of the skeleton releases held tension or stiffness and reminds our body how it really wants to be. When our body settles, so do our mind and feelings. Busy thoughts and upsets melt which is why the effect can be so profound. Zero Balancing was developed in the 70's by Dr Fritz Smith, combining the structural knowledge of Osteopathy with the energy theory of Acupuncture. Practitioners are trained to maintain a clear boundary between themselves and client so touch is experienced as non-invasive and safe. In a world where we are constantly pressured to do things it is wonderful to receive touch that offers the opportunity of such deep relaxation.
